Bahá’í Faith

Throughout the world, Bahá’í communities strive to unite diverse peoples of the world and bind all faiths and all hearts in a shared longing for peace, justice, and understanding. The Bahá’í Faith affirms that humanity is one family and that all religions come from the same divine source. Founded in the 19th century by Bahá’u’lláh, meaning the Glory of God, the Bahá’í Faith teaches that the purpose of religion is to bring people together, not to divide them; to foster love, not conflict. Bahá’ís believe in the oneness of God, the oneness of religion, and the oneness of humanity, and strive to work together across all differences, guided by justice, compassion, and a shared devotion to the sacred. In the Words of Bahá’u’lláh:

“So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth.”
